Jeffrey Graney joined n4a in May 2014, and is currently the Technical Assistance Associate with the National Aging and Disability Transportation Center. In this position, he is responsible for overseeing the Center’s technical assistance activities and responding directly to professionals seeking information and technical assistance on accessible transportation. He formerly served as an Information Specialist in the person-centered Eldercare Locator Call Center, where he headed the Locator’s insurance and transportation team. Jeffrey is bi-lingual in Spanish and English and is certified as an Information and Referral Specialist in Aging and Disability.
Prior to joining n4a, Jeffrey worked for the award-winning municipal transit system of Ames, Iowa as a transit operator and trainer. Additionally, he taught English as a second language for four years while living abroad in two language academies, where he taught courses in both conversational and technical English. Jeffrey has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Spanish and a Master of Arts in History, both from Iowa State University, and attended the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain.
