Laura Jane Ward-Strunin

Laura Jane Ward-Strunin joined USAging in October 2024 as Program Manager for the National Aging and Disability Transportation Center. In her role with NADTC she will assist with grant management including reporting, data tracking, and technical assistance.
Prior to joining USAging, Laura Jane worked for the North Carolina Division of Aging where she managed a dementia-specific caregiver support program. She has over 15 years’ experience in the aging network including the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program and the Older American Act-funded Family Caregiver Support Program. Her expertise includes policy development, contract management, strategies for addressing social isolation and loneliness, and caregiver support programming.
Laura Jane holds an MS in Gerontology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a BS in Psychology from Appalachian State University.
