National Aging and Disability Transportation Center
National Convening and Press Event
December 7, 2018
On December 7, 2018, NADTC hosted a press event and national convening to share the results of a new national poll on transportation needs and awareness among older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers. The convening included a discussion among national organizations about next steps that non-profits, local governments, and federal agencies could take to improve access to transportation services and information about those services.
The convening also celebrated the launch of Every Ride Counts, an adaptable publicity campaign that local transit systems and transportation providers of all sizes can use to create their own flyers, postcards, banners, and social media announcements.
