In December 2023, NADTC partnered with two transportation providers to host regional transportation forums on partnerships and practices in advancing equitable transportation. In 2021, NADTC conducted a National Diversity Transportation Survey in which 312 of the 2,435 respondents self-identified as LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer Plus). Following the culmination of nine planning grants in 2021, NADTC launched seven Equity and Accessibility Implementation Grants in October 2022.
