NADTC will host its first in a series of Human Services Webinars on June 29 from 2:30pm to 3:30pm Eastern. This webinar will feature speakers from three vaccination projects who will discuss how their unique programs are reaching older adults and people with disabilities in their communities needing access to vaccination sites, recognizing transportation as a key vaccination promotion activity.

Presenters include:

  • Sharon Cohan, Founder and Executive Director, TogetherAustin/VaxTogetherAustin
  • Leigh Ann Eagle, Director, Health & Wellness Program, MAC, Inc.
  • Jennifer Hammer, Assistant Director, Aging and Disability Vaccination Collaborative, USAging
  • Seth Wells, Executive Director, RISE Center for Independent Living

Attendees will also learn about the Aging and Disability Vaccination Collaborative (ADVC) that provides funding to organizations across the country to perform varied activities and outreach, like hosting community vaccine clinics, providing in-home vaccinations and providing transportation to vaccination sites.

This event will be captioned. If you require another access service to fully participate or have any questions about accessibility, please contact Heather Edmonds at contact@nadtc.org. To ensure the best experience, please try to contact us at your soonest convenience.
