In August 23, 2023 NADTC’s Office Hours-“Helping Transit-Age Youth Overcome Barriers Through Travel Training” provided an interactive discussion between attendees on travel training strategies for students with disabilities and how it helps to overcome transportation barriers when transitioning to adult life. Keith Fox, Transition Coordinator for Easterseals Crossroads Transition Services has been partnering with transit agencies and school systems for 19 years, offering travel training to students with disabilities and their caregivers to help them travel independently.
