A Conversation with the Fallon-Paiute Shoshone Tribe: Leveraging ICAM Pilot Program Funds to Grow On-Demand Services

Posted on Mar 13,2025

NADTC hosted a webinar with the Fallon Piaute Shoshone Tribe exploring how they have developed a scalable plan for meeting the transportation needs of tribal elders and members with disabilities. In the next two years they plan to expand their on-demand ride availability through the purchase of an ADA compliant van by leveraging Innovative Coordinated Access and Mobility (ICAM) pilot program funds. This webinar highlighted the tribe’s planning process, key partnerships, and plans for integrating their vehicle purchase to address transportation insecurities.
