The National Aging and Disability Transportation Center (NADTC) offers virtual office hours to facilitate peer-to-peer networking and provides an opportunity for dialogue with topical experts and NADTC staff.
Our second office hours roundtable focused on Transportation Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and was held on Wednesday, April 21 from 12:30pm-1:30 pm ET. Shawn Fong, Program Manager, City of Freemont, CA presented and an open discussion followed. Participants shared how their programs are working to meet the transportation needs of diverse older adults and people with disabilities and learned strategies on how to begin or improve transportation equity in their community.
