Please join us for our next Transportation Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Lunch and Learn Webinar on Wednesday, December 7 from 12:00pm to 12:45pm Eastern. Our session entitled, Language Matters, will feature Jess Mauer, Executive Director of the Maine Council on Aging, who will be discussing the importance of using language that is sensitive to diverse populations when doing outreach and advertising transportation programs and supports. The presentation will include guidance for preferred terminology and is an important step in addressing diversity, equity and inclusion for transportation programs.

Lunch and Learn sessions are designed to be brief informational webinars that allow participants to learn about promising practices in transportation equity.
